Open Hearth Ministries​

 

Open Hearth Ministries helps families with children who need emergency shelter. They provide emergency shelter, resources, and networking with other agencies that these families need to move forward and out of homelessness. They serve East Pierce and Puyallup.

 

Volunteer needs: Screeners- responsibilities include carrying the help line phone for 1 week to screen families who call ( training is provided).

 

 Visitors- responsibilities include visiting the family in the motel to provide necessary referrals and resources, communication to help them navigate the resources if needed.(training provided)
